Meet Buddy!  Buddy was turned into our Rescue, along with Abby, by their owner who could no longer properly care for them.   Built like Jimmy Stewart, he is slim and long legged,  house-broken and loves attention.  Buddy is four years old, current on vaccinations and neutered.  He is heartworm positive and currently undergoing treatment. 

Foster Update 5/15/08:

Buddy returned to his foster home today after four days with the vet for heartworm treatment.  He is a little sore and rather tired of the whole business.  I have to keep the tv volume low because he will become "Mr. Watchdog" if he thinks "The Animal Planet" has arrived unannounced.  His only bad habit, so far, has been a little misdemeanor counter surfing.  Buddy is a little shy with strangers, but after a few ear scratches, it's head in lap and "pet me stupid". 
 
 Foster Update 5/5/08:

Buddy is heartworm positive and will begin his treatments on the 12th. The Vet is very optimistic for a smooth recovery.  Buddy was "tutored" today and is now the embarrassed owner of the "dreaded" lampshade.  He
has learned to use the doggy door, is good on leash and is well on his way to earning a "Velcro Goldie" rating.
