Sadly, Parker went to the Rainbow Bridge March 3 due to complications from his heavy heartworm infestation.

This pretty boy came to us from a small animal control facility in La Place, Louisiana.  Parker spent over a month at the shelter waiting for his owner to claim him.  He is a bit timid in the beginning but warms up quickly to new people and places. Parker was not feeling well and was slightly dehydrated on his arrival in Houston so he has spent a few days with our good vets at Dickinson.  He seems to be feeling much better now.  At 42 lbs., Parker is 15 to 20 lbs. underweight.  He will need to gain at least 10 to 15 lbs. before he is ready to be neutered and start heartworm treatment.  Parker is a real lover boy and is convinced that he absolutely can fit in your lap. He is a calm quiet fellow who will be a wonderful companion for a lucky family. 

 

Parker is approximately 2-4 years old and he is microchipped.
