The fact that they donate a generous percentage of each purchase every time one of our supporters places an order is just one reason to love US Bones, an on-line retailer of high-quality pet foods, natural treats and bones, supplements and shampoos (everything good for your dog!) Just choose Golden Beginnings from the pull-down menu and then shop for your dogs! Please visit their website at www.usbones.com.
Join our Golden Beginnings Facebook group!
Join our fun and dynamic Golden Beginnings Facebook group to keep up with the latest news and events, and to follow the journey of dogs like this month's featured golden, Rocky, a handsome young boy who came to GB after surviving a hit and run accident. He has 2 torn ACLs (thankfully, as it could have been much worse) which will require surgery before GB can place him in his forever home. But Rocky is a trooper who never stops smiling!

Hearts Were
Captured and Tails were Told Through
"A Week of Rescues"
Kim Hartz Photography to Highlight Rescue Dogs!
CLICK HERE TO SEE PHOTOS OF THE GOLDENS
Five Texas-based animal rescue groups geared up for their
available dogs to receive complimentary in-studio portrait
sessions by Kim Hartz Photography during the Inaugural Week of
Rescues event, May 2 to May 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Groups
were able to use photos at their discretion and the pooch shoot
was
completely free of charge.
Kim Hartz, a pet and newborn photographer, dedicated five full
days to capturing these canine companions through her lens.
Finished images will be posted on her Facebook page and website
(www.kimhartz.com/week-of-rescues)
where visitors can catch a glimpse into the lives of man’s best
friends who are all in need of furever homes. Rescue art was
revealed the following week as Hartz presents one organization,
per day. Golden Beginnings was on May 6.
“Through our passion of photography and love of animals, we can
make a difference and bring to light the different animal rescue
groups in our city,” said Kim Hartz, owner of Kim Hartz
Photography. “Our goal for this event is for you to feel the
presence and personality of the dogs, and hopefully you’ll be
adding a new four-legged friend to the family!”
In addition to this priceless donation of images for promotion
of each organizations available adoptable dogs, Kim Hartz
Photography will also be accepting monetary donations to further
assist these groups with their mission. Donations for the groups
can be made at
www.kimhartz.com/week-of-rescues through June 1, and will be
tracked and split evenly between the five groups. Any monetary
contribution improves the quality of life for animals awaiting
adoption and can often make it possible for organizations to
assist many more animals as they provide food, vaccinations and
shelter. You may also contribute by completing and mailing the
attached form. A Week of Rescues will be held twice a year and
is open to all rescue groups. Follow Kim Hartz Photography on
Facebook or visit
www.kimhartz.com to learn more and to be among the first to
hear about the next A Week of Rescues event.
